Day 192 ~ Pretty Dresses!

Brandi and I got together today to go shopping at David's Bridal for my bridesmaid's dress :)  This is the one that she had her Maid of Honor try on, but ours is going to be in Marine color or maybe Silver!  Funny thing is that I had tried this dress on in white for my wedding and it looked horrible on me.... but I tried on this one and it was gorgeous!  I'm so in love with it as long as it's not a light color!  So this is what I will be wearing tentatively, just in blue.  The wedding's not until November so things could change in between now and then!  The maroon one behind it is actually the same style as my wedding dress was, we tried it on just because we know it already looks good on me ^_^

Day 191 ~ "You learn something new every day"

Today, I learned new things about myself and my place of living!

#1.... I cannot resist a chance to watch the Steelers LOSE no matter who it is who makes them LOSE!!!!  I didn't think I was going to watch the Super Bowl this year because if it isn't the Ravens playing the Steelers then I thought there really was not much point in watching.  By the 3rd quarter, I was glued to the computer screen yelling at it (we couldn't get it on our TV!)  And at that moment that I knew no matter happened, the Steelers were going down, it felt good!  And still does, I'm still happy about it! :)

#2 .... My door is magnetic!  How I did not know this all this time, who knows.... but so are my linen closet doors AND my coat closet doors!  Crazy!  These are all the magnets we have collected from th eplaces Nate and I go together!  As well as Brandi's save the date card that came in the mail the other day... she's asked me to be in her wedding and I so can'twait for it because it will be the first wedding besides my own that I get to be in!

 



Day 190 ~ Cleaning = Fun when Erin's around!

Erin Phillips is a god send to my life at this moment!  She came over, no questions asked, and brought her cleaning supplie and helped me ALL afternoon to clean my apartment!  I was just starting to feel like I was drowning in mess here too.... and now I feel like I can breathe again!

This corner hasn't been this empty in months..... we used to have "mount empty boxes" here.  I took them down to the storage unit while she got started vacuuming (ours is broken, thus the major malfunction) since they are good usable boxes but they were driving me CRAZY!!!! And there was also a lot of stuff we would throw back there to get away from the cats if they were being pests!

And Steve also met someone who for once is just as pesky and annoying to him as he is to us! ^_^  He liked Alyssa's attention, but every once in a while we would find them like this

He would always look so pathetic... being like "mommy make her stop! don't let her do it again!!!"

Anyways..... Erin cleaned my whole bathroom spite my protests that she shouldn't have to do that part!  All I hadto do was move things and put away things and then clean the kitchen after I took them home after Justin came over for burgers and watching Grey's Anatomy!  It was just so amazing of her to do it without asking anything in return and I know she will clean her apartment before I have the chance to return the favor!  Times like these where I wouldn't have my life any other way!

Day 189 ~ Grapes!!!

Kateri and her family are going on vacation, a cruise :)  So exciting!  And for me it means an 11 day weekend so it's all good all around!  Today I stayed around to help keep Kateri out of their way while they finished packing and loading up the car.  Her new thing this week is loving grapes!  So here she is showing me one and I thought it was a good picture cause it matches her traveling outfit.... all green just like her "dapes"  She was so excited to go on the plane and kept saying "Go!! Pane!!!"  It was sooo cute! 

Day 187 ~ Hard at work ;)

Or play :)  Today Veronica and Brad let me take the most awesome dressers on the face of the planet!  I love them so much because they have cabinets that open into drawers and that's my favorite style!  While we were waiting for my grandfather and the guys to come with the truck to take them, Kateri loved jumping off this one into my arms!  She loves being outside no matter how cold it is!  Crazy child!

Day 188 ~ Life ain't nothin' but a funny funny riddle....

So apparently, my new thing is to have people over and feed them stuff I make off my griddle! lol  My friends Erin and Justin came over with their little two year old daughter Alyssa tonight and we made pancakes and eggs and toast for dinner :)  Erin made the eggs while I made the pancakes!  They were awesome!

Aly letting Steve eat her food..... she was actually trying to feed it to him before we caught her!!!

We watched "grown ups" and Apparently it rubbed off on us because we are acting like such NOT grown ups here..... Justin kept throwing Perry the Platypus at me!

Day 186 ~ Mileage

Just thought this was cool in Nate's car.... he was at an even 75,000 (so young lol) when we pulled up to his parents on the way home from picking his dad up from White Marsh!
