Day 365 (Monday, August 1st) ~ Tribute to the one who made this all possible!

As I type the final post of this 365 day photo blog ( just a little overdue as you can see by the date ;) I blame it on baby just so you know!), I thought it only fitting to make sure to give credit to the camera responsible for a years worth of daily pictures!

It probably did more work than I did this year!  But I certainly couldn't have done it without it ;)

And on that note... I bid this blog a fond farewell!

Day 364 (Sunday, July 31st) ~ Hello Moshi!

Wrapping up a year of birthdays, we come to my mom's :)  This is her present, Moshi... it's a voice activated alarm clock!  You say "hello Moshi" and then it responds and you can give it commands and everything, its quite entertaining!

Day 363 (Saturday, July 30th) ~ Baby book :)

I couldn't sleep at all early this morning so I came out to the couch which is ofetn more comfortable than the bed.  After being there for a while I noticed something on the coffee table that was't usually there.  It was a pregnancy book from Nate's parents!  Mercie had brought it home with her late last night.  I skimmed through the first weeks until I got to where I am now, which is in the 11th week, and then was able to fall asleep :)

Day 362 (Friday, July 29th) ~ Kitties in the window...

Steve and Ramona both love sitting in the window but rarely at the same time, so I made sure to take the opportunity to get a pictureof them together!

Day 361 (Thursday, July 28th) ~ Confused Spider....

I got home early from work today, and out on the balcony in the light of day was this spider intently building a web!  I watched for a long time wondering why on earth it was not doing that at night!

Day 360 (Wednesday, July 27th) ~ Act like a kid morning!

I was getting cereal before work when I realized that the box said there was a toy inside.  Mind you I've had this cereal for two weeks now and never noticed.  I immediately started acting like a little kid digging through the box to find it :)

Day 359 (Tuesday, July 26th) ~ New abilities...

Kateri just keeps getting smarter every day... today I found her lining up her toys saying "this one, then this one, and this one"  It's really fun to watch her grasp concepts like that!

Day 258 (Monday, July 25th) ~ Kateri's "Fowers"

Kateri loves flowers and Veronica picked these from the front yard for her, she says "BIG fowers" all excited and carried them around all afternoon!

Day 257 (Sunday, July 24th) ~ Too good to be True...

We went to Friendlys tonight with Ricky, Charlie, and Ashley and a bunch of her friends.  My chicken wrap is never on any specials.  But they have a new one and sure enough there it was!!!

Day 256 (Saturday, July 23rd) ~ The ideas we come up with sometimes...

Venus Fly Trap plants..... yeah!  Nate had one when he was younger so when he found this online we thought, for some unknown reason, that it would be fun to try to grow one.  It may be too late for this year, but they came today so we will have them to grow in the appropriate season next year!  Oh my!

Day 355 (Friday, July 22nd) ~ Flat Fishes!

Can't exactly remember why at the moment, but we thought this was really funny at the time for some reason!

Day 354 (Thursday, July 21st) ~ Banana Oatmeal!

Day 353 (Wednesday, July 20th) ~ The last Harry Potter...

Nate and Mercie and I went to see it in the theater today.  I figured I started the first one seeing it in the theater and, while I didn't see each and every one that way, I thought it was only fitting that I ended it that way!

Day 352 (Tuesday, July 19th) ~ Birthday Anniversary Day!!!

Thankfully I have facebook to remind me of these things ;)

Just kidding..... how could I forget :)  Today was my second anniversary with Nate, and Suzanne turned 15!  My dad's birthday is also tomorrow <3

Day 351 (Monday, July 18th) ~ Degrassi Summer event

One of my guilty "yes I watch that show" moments :)  I've never had the channel it comes on, until now, so I've never been able to watch anything current.  I started watching it every now and then when I was a live in nanny and home all day but I thought it was stupid.... it pretty much is, but for some reason I get a kick out of wasting time on it anyways.  So when I realized we had the channel for it finally I got all teenager like when I realized I could watch it as it aired this summer lol

Day 350 (Sunday July 17th) ~ Navy Band

This Sunday's concert in the park was a navy band, probably the only other we will get to.  My parents were in the Air Force and my grandfather was Navy... Nate's dad was in the Army, so at the end when they play all the songs for the different branches of the military it's always fun to watch our family memebers stand up to represent them!

Day 349 (Saturday, July 16th) ~ Private Practice

This is the spin off from Grey's Anatomy and since I'm currently all caught up on that I decided to go ahead and start the spin off! There are already 4 seasons of it so I won't be caught up for some time, but it looks just as good so I'm excited to start it!

Day 348 (Friday, July 15th) ~ Vacation Bible School

Mandy's kids have had VBS the last week at the same church in which I play handbells. Jamie Nykiel, my friend and handbell director, does the music for the week and at the end they have a program for friends and family on Friday evening, sinceit was so close by I couldn't miss it!

Day 347 (Thursday, July 14th) ~ Wind Chimes...

That I actually like... I've never been a big fan but these are outside on Mandy and John's front portch and I like it when it's windy because they do sound pretty!

Day 346 (Wednesday, July 13th) ~ Zucchini Relish Part 2.

All canned and looking quite beautiful if I do say so myself :)

Day 345 (Tuesday, July 12th) ~ Zucchini Relish Part 1.

My mom, grandmother and I make Zucchini Relish every year from my moms garden zucchini.  Coming from someone who never liked relish growing up, I LOVE this stuff.  Today was chopping all the zucchini, peppers and onions needed for the canning process tomorrow!

Day 342 (Saturday July 9th) ~ Cravings and Necessary things!

I went to Walmart with my mom today.... which can be dangerous when pregnant :)  The gum was necessary because tastes are starting to stick in my mouth a lot and I don't like it.... but the ginger ale was actually a craving as were the cheerios!  I had to keep from sticking ten other things in the cart so I didn't spend all my money!

Day 341 (Friday, July 8th) ~ Tree down

We had a pretty huge storm last night, mostly a lot of wind.  When we left for work this morning this is what greeted us outside the door laying straight across the steps and sidewalk.

Edit to Add.... we lost the tree on the other side the exact same way during Hurricane Irene!

Day 340 (Thursday July 7th) ~ kid geniuses!

I'm sitting down in the big room today and for the millionth time since 8 A.M I hear "Miss Jessica!!!!!" I turn around to see this...

Aren' t they awesome!

Day 339 ~ Our baby...

Well.... it's in there :)  I couldn't believe how fast they could get me in for an ultrasound when I called!  Today we got to see our baby for the first time and he or she is beautiful!  I'm not into calling them bean or peanut or anything like that, but my dad says he/she looks like a turtle, and I like that!  But for the most part, it's just my little baby!  The heart beat was 158 and we got to hear it and everything!  I'm measuring 7 weeks and 4 days which he said is perfect!

Due Date: February 16th, 2012!

Day 338 (Tuesday, July 5th) ~ Holy Emptiness!

After ages of everything in Brad and Veronica's kitchen being in the center because they're painting, they finally moved it all back against walls.  It was crazy to walk into because I'm so used to managing around everything! :)

Day 337 (Monday, July 4th) ~ "Will someone shut that man up?"

Our favorite line from our 4th of July tradition.... watching the musical 1776!  My family and I have watched it almost every year for the last 15... it's a musical surrounding the few months leading up to the Declaration being signed on the 4th of July.  I wouldn't miss watching it for anything, but after you've seen it time and time again, you watch it with varrying levels of attention every year!  That line is from when John Adams is trying to convince the Congress to declare independance!  To which he answers "Nevah!!!" As Suzanne and I think it should be spelled! lol  Then wewatched the DC fireworks on TV as usual before I headed home!

Day 336 (Sunday, July 3rd) ~ Movie Date...

Mercie was working and we had time to kill before the concert in the park so we went to see Transformers.  It was so good and I'm glad we decided to splurge on it!

Day 335 (Saturday, July 2nd) ~ Trip to camp...

Suzanne is coming home for a week from camp and I went with my mom today to pick her up!  It's an hour and a half drive and these lollipops help to keep my mind off not feeling so great.  By now I won't say I have full blown morning sickness, but I certainly don't feel great sometimes!  Oh and I'm going to show Suzanne my new folder to tell her she's going to be an aunt :)

Day 334 (Friday, July 1st) ~ My cool new folder!

It's been two and a half very long weeks waiting for my first OB appointment! And after an hour and a half in the waiting room all they did was blood work for me today and schedule an appointment for four weeks from now when I will be about 11 weeks!  But I did ask to be sent for a sonogram earlier than that for peace of mind and Dr. Stern was agreeable to that.  It could still take a week or so, but at least it might not have to be four!  I got a folder full of all the information I will need for the hospital and delivery!  I carry it around like it's my life line!

Day 333 (Thursday, June 30th) ~ Steve's noisy bird friend!

These birds have a nest up in our rafters and they sit on this railing and make sure the coast is clear before flying up to it!  I think the male is beautiful.... Steve loves to sit and talk to them in his bird chirp voice!  But man are they noisy sometimes!

Day 332 (Wednesday, June 29th) ~ Beastly...

Every once in a while I get myself a new movie off red box to watch at work while Kateri sleeps... today's choice was Beastly.  It was a fairly decent movie, charming if you will!

Day 331 (Tuesday, June 28th) ~ Yay for new music!

This is Selena Gomez's second appearance in this blog I do believe!  Her new CD came out today and Kateri and I tool a trip to get it... that and I needed a sprite so we used it as an excuse to go get one!  I don't like nearly as many songs on this one as I did on the others, but it was worth the buy!

Day 330 (Monday, June 27th) ~ Flag!

In preparation for the 4th of July... only my favorite holiday ever... Joel and I made a flag today!  He actually did a lot of the work and did a really great job!

Day 329 (Sunday, June 26th) ~ Concert in the park

Every year our local park sponsors different genre bands for a summer concert series.  Today was the first one and I went with my family!  Music from the 60's!  Is it sad that I like that music much better than most of our current music??  We also got some pretty good pizza there!

Day 328 (Saturday, June 25th) ~ Vital signs...

I rescued this little plant off the steps of our old apartment and have nursed it back to health!  It looks like it may be ready to get some flowers soon!

Day 327 (Friday, June 24th) ~ Thumbs up!

Kateri and I have been working on her thumbs up!  She got it  all by herself today!

Day 326 (Thursday, June 23rd) ~ Maybe friends?

Sofia is so cute when we leave on Mondays and Thursdays.... she has to hug everyone!  Kateri isn't so sure what she thinks about that!  But I thought it was funny later on how tan Sofie is compared to Kateri!

Day 325 (Wednesday June 22nd) ~ Perpetual Calendar

I finally dug this out of its box... we found it back in November in Florida and are going to finally put it up! You just switch around the days and months and it never ends :)

Day 324 ~ Pandemic...

Nate and his friends play this game... it's kind of like Risk, except you're supposed to work together to cure disease in all the major regions, instead of working against each other.  He's been bugging me to learn, but I've been resisting.  But I gave in, and I guess it wasn't that bad, except for the fact that we lost and weren't able to cure everywhere :/

Day 323 (Monday, August 20th) ~ Ivan is on the move!

He's almost to crawling now... he's mastered the getting on his knees part, but does not yet know what to do from there and just flops!  But he can scoot across a room pretty fast none the less!

Day 322 ~ Steve is busted!

He's been driving his mommy crazy trying to get in here.... the best place for their food in the new apartment at the moment!  He finally won the battle... looks like it's time to find a new place... he says he's innocent until proven guilty!

Day 321 (Saturday, June 18th) ~ KEYS!!

We needed to get Mercie a copy of the apartment key, so we went to Home Depot and I couldn't resist these!

The palm trees are for all the time, since palm trees are probably my favorite things in the whole world and we can't grow them here!  And then the Ravens key for football season ;)

Day 320 (Friday, June 17th) ~ Spot stealer!

I felt like sitting in th bean bag chair, that hadn't been used in quite some time, tonight while we were watching a movie.  I get up for a second and this is what I comeback to!

Day 319 (Thursday, June 16th) ~ Something I can use!

We had been paying for cable that was barely worth using just so we wouldn't have to pay twice as much for JUST the internet.  Once we realized we weren't bound to a contract, we switched that and got set up with broad stripe today... Now we pay just as much as we were paying before, but for cable that actually has channels worth watching!

Day 318 (Wednesday, June 15th) ~ Where was this when I was a kid???

I so have to hunt one of these down.... Suzanne and I went into fits of laughter the instant we turned on the water!
