Day 44 ~ I knew I missed this for a reason...
I used to play handbells with a childhood friend at her church. After several years I stopped playing for various reasons. Well with a desperate need of something new to get into and the choir's need for new players... I joined with a new church. I have known Jamie and Anna for many years... their mother taught me piano and Jamie now teaches my sister piano, I used to ice skate with Anna and we have kept in touch over the years even with lots of time of not seeing each other in between. Jamie directs the handbell choir at a church in my neighborhood. We all got together last Friday to have a girls afternoon out and we were talking about bells and next thing I know I'm at practice and I could have played all night I felt so at home. I knew somehwere deep down that I missed playing every now and then... and I think I've maybe found a place I belong and something I'm good at! I started out the night playing one bell and before the night was over I was playing all of these in the picture. Not quite up to what I was playing back in my early teens, but close enough for me to feel a thrill! For tonight I felt important, needed! I haven't felt that in a while <3

Day 43 ~ Rainy Lego Sunday
Today it was a stay inside rainy day! The sun didn't peek a bit! So we watched a lot of movies and tv, and worked a lot on our Legos :) This is what we're working on now and we finally made it to the second book!
This is the pregress on that big dome right in the middle.... its more fun than I thought it was going to be.... lots of white pieces lol

Day 42 ~ Being adventurous!
Alright so as annoying as it is that this picture refused to rotate, I had to use it because this is what I did today! Nate's parent's and sister go on thesewalks called Volks marches. They originated in Germany and then came to the U.S. They are trails through essentially nice parts of different towns that volunteer to host them throughout Maryland! I went on my very first march today and I got my "new walker" books (they are kind of like passports and you get a stamp for every one you complete) and it was a 5K one through Montpelier in Laurel, MD. It was really fun and I felt active and adventerous! Nate had to work, but I hope he'll go on the next one on New Years day with me :) Today's march was also to commemorate 9-11 which is what the badge is for!

Day 41 ~ dusk clouds
I love the clouds when it's just getting dark :) After stopping at the Verizon store to get Nate's phone fixed, I thought we should stop at the Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar so we could spend a few buck on random things! This was the sky when we came out! I thought it was especially pretty with the way the light is hitting the tree! Today was a good day <3 Shopping and lunch with Anna and Jamie, and then random errands with Nate all wrapped up by watching the mid season finale of Eureka :)

Day 40 ~Everybody outside!
Today was such a gorgeous day! It started out pretty chilly but sunny... and the wind :) I love the wind! It got warmer throughout the day but it stayed nice and cool and windy! So we (me and the three kids I watched today) spent a lot of time outside!
The first picture I thought just captured the sunlight of the day nicely!
The kitty is Cinnamon :) I call her Cinnamini or Cinnaminion... the dog was chasing her and this was her "get him away from me" stop and stare!
And the tree branches looked especially beautiful and even sounded so in the wind :)

Day 39 ~ Mogus!!!!!
My mom got me this :) *Is Happy* I have some crazy addiction to mushrooms (mogu is how you say it in Chinese, learned that off a fortune cookie years ago lol) even though I hated them growing up, and hard boiled eggs, which is originally what she got it for was so that I could slice hard boiled eggs! So I went on a mogu slicing frenzy today and sliced every one in the package ^-^ It was a very catharctic experience if I might say so myself!
